![]() The following is a compilation of rissole recipies contributed by members of the forum. See the original posts here!!!! RISSOLES – Various Recipes I posted the following on the ausgarden recipe page. My mum, Beryl, used to make rissoles all the time and I loved them. They were made with 1/2 and 1/2 minced beef and sausage mince plus other stuff. We have been trying to make them but they fall apart; and we cannot find sausage mince anyway...apart from in preservative loaded sausages I guess. I cannot eat hugely spicy stuff and don't like curry as I have seen in some recipes. So here is my request? The kind people of ausgarden forum sent the following recipes…and now I have been asked to share them as a blog. I hope you all enjoy the recipes of our garden community. |

To dress up meatballs for a change I serve them in a Ginger raisisn sauce. Make the balls smaller than usual ( about 2.5 - 3cm ) and place in frig until the sauce is prepared.
Ginger raisin sauce:
6 gingernut biscuits
2 1/2 - 3 cups water
2 small beef cubes
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup raisins
2 tablesps lemon juice ( or vinegar)
